Promoting Active Citizenship where BYI works to empower, inspire and train the youth volunteers with 21st-century leadership and soft skills by covering three major areas- leading self, leading with others and changing our world. BYI creates an opportunity to know about the great contribution of our father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the spirit of our liberation movement heroes. They learn their goal setting, gratitude, respect, empathy, growth mindset, team building, communication & feedback, celebrating diversity, policy advocacy and responsibility towards their own community. Then the trained volunteers involve themselves in voluntary services and take ownership of solving the problems of their own community. For that, they design different community action projects and work on that. To meet this goal have come up with various training such as Simple Life, Be the Change, Workshop on Communication, Public Speaking, Team Building and so on. In implementing different community action projects we prioritize to work for our environmental issues which is a big threat to Bangladesh. BYI has planted trees in 26 districts all over the country which has been successfully completed by our enthusiastic and active leaders and volunteers. We have not stopped here in planting trees only, we are making sure that the trees are properly monitored by tree guardians and 300 volunteers to protect the trees.
Ensuring Quality and Inclusive Education. Here we work with underprivileged students and provide them inclusive education. We provide them real learning opportunities with long-term financial and logistics support to enhance them personally and academically. In achieving this goal, we embarked on 4 projects- Reboot Schooling, Odommo, Kiron and Dream Big. In order to promote student leadership, BYI runs a 'Clean and Green school’ campaign where the students from the primary school run this project on their own from fundraising to implementation of the project.
To work for sustainable rural development. As a matter of fact, we embarked on our voyage to ensure human development for uplifting the socio-economic conditions of local villagers, women and artisans by providing them financial support for their start-up businesses. For example, “Sabolombi” is such a project where we are supporting 30 families for inclusive economic growth and poverty reduction in Bangladesh.

BYI's Journey of Glory
It was 2017. In March, more than 60 haors across the country were inundated by flash flood. As the raw paddy sank in the haor, the water became poisonous and aquatic animals, fish and ducks also started dying. A horrible situation was prevailing then. At that time, various governmental and non-governmental organizations were
conducting relief activities. When everyone was working with relief aid,
